Do Re Mi (1960)

Opened at St. James Theatre
Opened: December 26, 1960
Closed: January 13, 1962
Hubie Kram is always eyeing the next get-rich-quick scheme, regardless of the fact that he and his long-suffering wife Kay always wind up just slightly behind where they started. But now, in 1960, Herbie has discovered that there's a fortune to be made in the booming jukebox industry, and although that means mixing with hoodlums, industry rivals, and eccentric singers, Hubie risks it all on one more roll of the dice.

Garson Kanin based the book on his novella, Do Re Mi.
